They’ve Got Their Hazards On

Vehicle hazard lights are an important safety feature we take for granted in modern cars. They're used to denote a stopped vehicle in or near moving traffic or a slow-moving or potentially limping vehicle to other drivers, but when they were originally introduced in the 1950's they were offered as aftermarket features, not standard ones. The technology and presentation of hazard lights hasn't changed much in the past 70+ years, but it may not be long before we start to see changes in new vehicles.
